Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs with digital imaging technology
- Implement strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance standards
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for optimal efficiency
- Manage patient flow and documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education on post-operative care
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for the dental practice
Qualifications
- Active Texas Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and infection control procedures
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and clinical workflows
- CPR/BLS certification from an accredited provider
- Exceptional interpersonal skills with diverse patient populations
- Ability to multitask effectively in a fast-paced environment
