Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform dental radiography (X-rays) with digital imaging proficiency
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control standards
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental instruments for optimal efficiency
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour study models
- Manage patient scheduling and digital record systems
- Provide chairside assistance with utmost attention to patient comfort
Qualifications
- Active California Dental Assistant License or RDA certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Ability to manage multiple procedures simultaneously
- Degree from accredited dental assisting program preferred
