Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgeries and restorative treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict OSHA compliance
- Take precise dental X-rays and develop high-quality diagnostic images
- Manage patient charts and digital records using Dentrix software
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide under dentist supervision
- Provide post-operative care instructions and patient education
- Order supplies and inventory management for clinical operations
Qualifications
- Current California RDA license or Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CDA)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- BLS/CPR certification
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Excellent chairside manner and communication skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks efficiently in fast-paced environment
- Spanish bilingual preferred
