Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside support with proper instrument transfer and suction techniques
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain OSHA-compliant infection control
- Prepare treatment rooms and materials for efficient patient flow
- Administer patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Coordinate with front office staff on patient scheduling and documentation
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Texas
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Strong knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication skills in English/Spanish
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments
- Positive attitude and commitment to team collaboration
