Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop precise dental radiographs (X-rays) with advanced digital imaging systems
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilize instruments per OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and equipment for optimal efficiency
- Deliver patient education on oral hygiene and post-procedure care
- Manage digital patient records and scheduling systems
- Oversee inventory management for dental supplies and materials
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or graduate of accredited dental assisting program
- Current CPR certification and radiography licensure
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Exceptional chairside manner and patient communication skills
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment
- Strong attention to detail and infection control expertise
- Flexibility to work occasional evenings and Saturdays
