Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Take and develop accurate dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Prepare patients for treatment and maintain detailed dental records
- Ensure strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Delicate patient education on post-operative care and oral hygiene
- Coordinate seamless scheduling and administrative workflows
Qualifications
- CDA (Certified Dental Assistant) or RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Expertise in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental software (Dentrix/Eaglesoft)
- CPR certification and HIPAA compliance awareness
- Exceptional communication and patient rapport skills
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in high-pressure situations
