Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative and surgical treatments
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take accurate digital radiographs and intraoral photos
- Manage patient education and post-op care instructions
- Oversee inventory control and supply ordering
- Maintain precise digital patient records using Dentrix software
- Ensure operatory sanitation meets highest clinical standards
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or state-issued)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain within 30 days)
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced environment
- High school diploma or equivalent required
