Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare patients and treatment rooms efficiently
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Manage infection control protocols and sterilization
- Document patient information accurately in digital records
- Order inventory and maintain clinical supplies
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Accredited Dental Assistant certificate or degree
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience
- DEXIS/Radiography proficiency
- Strong knowledge of OSHA/HIPAA compliance
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple priorities in fast-paced setting
- North Carolina Dental Assistant license required
