Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery, implants, and orthodontics
- Perform digital radiography and intraoral imaging with advanced equipment
- Maintain sterile environments through strict OSHA compliance protocols
- Manage patient flow and chairside assistance with exceptional efficiency
- Execute infection control procedures and instrument sterilization
- Prepare treatment rooms and dental materials for optimal productivity
- Document patient records accurately in our digital practice management system
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification and Illinois radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry or specialty practice
- Expertise in digital radiography and practice management software (Eaglesoft/Dentrix)
- Strong knowledge of infection control and sterilization protocols
- CPR certification and BLS training
- Exceptional communication skills for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced environments while maintaining precision
