Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and ensure clinical readiness
- Assist dentists during treatments including restorations, extractions, and orthodontics
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with precision
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies efficiently
- Provide chairside support and patient education
- Coordinate treatment plans and schedule appointments seamlessly
Qualifications
- Active Hawaii Dental Assistant certification or DANB eligibility
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in digital radiography and practice management software
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to thrive in fast-paced, team-oriented environment
