Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Support the dentist during procedures using 4-handed dentistry techniques.
- Patient Management: Greet patients warmly, update medical records, and explain treatment plans clearly.
- Radiography: Take and develop dental X-rays accurately using digital imaging systems.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and OSHA safety standards.
- Lab Work: Prepare impressions, pour models, and fabricate temporary crowns.
- Front Desk Support: Assist with scheduling appointments and managing patient flow.
Qualifications
- Certification as a Dental Assistant (CDA) or completion of an accredited dental assisting program.
- Current BLS/CPR Certification (American Heart Association).
- Experience with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is highly preferred.
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- Ability to work well under pressure in a fast-paced environment.
- Valid Driver’s License and reliable transportation.
