Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using state-of-the-art equipment
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging systems
- Manage patient records and charting with our practice management software
- Provide chairside assistance during surgeries and restorative procedures
- Implement infection control protocols and maintain sterile environments
- Assist with patient education on oral hygiene techniques
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or DANB credentials required
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and dental sterilization standards
- Excellent communication and patient interaction skills
- Ability to manage multiple procedures in fast-paced environments
- CPR certification and BLS training
