Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist and hygienist during patient examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Radiography: Perform intraoral and extraoral dental X-rays, ensuring high-quality images for diagnosis.
- Infection Control: Adhere strictly to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization and disinfection protocols.
- Patient Management: Greet patients, update medical histories, and prepare treatment rooms for maximum efficiency.
- Charting: Accurately record patient data and treatment notes into our digital dental software.
- Lab Duties: Prepare impressions, temporary crowns, and other dental materials as needed.
- Support: Educate patients on post-operative care and oral hygiene practices.
Qualifications
- Education: Graduate of an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Certification: Current Radiology Certification (RDA) and CPR/BLS certification required.
- Licensure: Active Arizona Dental Assistant license.
- Skills: Proficient in using modern dental software and digital imaging technology.
- Soft Skills: Excellent communication skills with a patient-first attitude.
- Experience: 1+ years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates with equipment provided support are welcome.
- Detail-Oriented: Ability to maintain high standards of accuracy in a fast-paced environment.
