Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms with sterilized instruments and equipment provided by the practice
- Assist dentists during procedures including restorative, orthodontic, and surgical cases
- Take digital dental radiographs using practice-provided imaging systems
- Manage patient flow and documentation with our digital practice management software
- Maintain strict sterilization protocols for all equipment and instruments
- Provide chairside assistance and patient education
- Order and maintain inventory of clinical supplies
Qualifications
- Dental Assistant Diploma or Associate's degree from accredited program
- Current DANB certification or state dental radiology license
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency with digital radiography and practice management software
- Excellent interpersonal skills and attention to clinical detail
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment with provided equipment
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Must be able to stand for extended periods
