Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including crowns, bridges, and implants
- Operate digital radiography and intraoral imaging equipment
- Manage sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance
- Take accurate dental impressions and pour models
- Coordinate patient flow and chairside assistance
- Maintain treatment rooms and inventory of provided equipment
- Perform patient education on oral hygiene
Qualifications
- New York State Dental Assistant certification required
- Minimum 2 years chairside experience
- Proficiency with digital imaging systems
- CPR certification
- Excellent communication and multitasking skills
- Ability to handle high-volume patient cases
- Familiarity with Eaglesoft/Dentrix software preferred
