Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures using advanced equipment
- Perform digital X-rays and intraoral imaging with modern imaging systems
- Manage sterilization protocols for all dental instruments
- Prepare treatment rooms with premium equipment and materials
- Take accurate dental impressions using digital and traditional methods
- Deliver patient education on post-operative care
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB/CDA)
- 1+ years of clinical experience with modern dental equipment
- Proficiency in digital radiography and imaging software
- OSHA and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Excellent chairside assisting skills for restorative and cosmetic procedures
- Strong communication and patient interaction abilities
- Ability to manage multiple equipment simultaneously
- Valid CPR certification
