Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize dental instruments
- Assist dentists during procedures including four-handed dentistry
- Take and develop diagnostic dental X-rays
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Administer local anesthesia and nitrous oxide monitoring
- Implement infection control protocols (OSHA/CDC)
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- Current CPR/BLS certification
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Strong knowledge of dental radiography techniques
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively
- Flexibility to work evenings/weekends as needed
