Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Provide comprehensive support to the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures.
- Instrument Management: Prepare, clean, and sterilize dental instruments and equipment following strict protocols.
- Diagnostics: Take and develop digital X-rays, impressions, and study models accurately.
- Patient Care: Ensure patient comfort, manage chairside anxiety, and provide pre- and post-operative instructions.
- Administrative Support: Maintain accurate patient records, update charts, and assist with insurance verification and billing.
- Infection Control: Adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines to ensure a safe and sterile environment.
Qualifications
- Certification: Graduation from an accredited dental assisting program or current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) for Healthcare Providers certification.
- Communication: Exceptional interpersonal skills with the ability to communicate effectively with patients and staff.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with dental software and radiography equipment.
- Attention to Detail: Strong organizational skills and the ability to multitask in a fast-paced setting.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but we are willing to train motivated candidates.
