Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision and care
- Manage sterilization protocols and maintain infection control standards
- Handle patient scheduling and digital chart documentation
- Assist in inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Ensure operatory setup and equipment readiness
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license in Maryland
- Minimum 2 years of clinical dental assisting experience
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix software
- Excellent interpersonal skills for patient interactions
- CPR certification (or willingness to obtain)
- Strong attention to detail and infection control knowledge
- Ability to manage multiple tasks in a fast-paced environment
