Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of procedures, including fillings, crowns, and cleanings.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments following strict infection control guidelines.
- Greet patients, update health histories, and ensure a comfortable waiting experience.
- Maintain accurate and up-to-date dental records in our practice management software.
- Instruct patients on proper oral hygiene techniques and post-operative care.
- Manage inventory and order dental supplies as needed.
Qualifications
- Graduate of an accredited Dental Assistant program.
- DANB Certified (CDA, RHS, or ICE) preferred but willing to train the right candidate.
- Current CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a friendly demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Proficiency in using dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dentrix) is a plus.
