Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and procedures with efficiency and precision.
- Patient Management: Greet patients, prepare treatment rooms, and guide them through their dental journey.
- Radiography: Perform digital X-rays and intraoral photography while adhering to safety protocols.
- Infection Control: Maintain strict sterilization standards and ensure a clean, safe environment for all patients.
- Administrative Duties: Manage patient records, handle insurance claims, and schedule appointments accurately.
Qualifications
- Certification: DANB Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) preferred, or equivalent experience.
- Experience: 1-2 years of clinical dental assisting experience in a general practice setting.
- License: Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in the State of Texas.
- CPR Certification: Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Skills: Proficiency in dental software and excellent interpersonal communication skills.
