Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative treatments and oral surgeries
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction, and four-handed dentistry
- Manage digital radiography and intraoral imaging systems with precision
- Ensure strict sterilization protocols and OSHA compliance across all equipment
- Coordinate patient flow: scheduling, chart updates, and post-op instructions
- Oversee inventory management and supply ordering for clinical efficiency
- Maintain HIPAA-compliant electronic health records
Qualifications
- Current DANB certification or state-registered Dental Assistant credential
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft/Dentrix practice management software
- Valid CPR/BLS certification
- Exceptional chairside skills and infection control expertise
- Strong communication abilities for patient education and team collaboration
- Ability to adapt quickly to high-volume, multi-doctor practice
