Responsibilities
- Chairside assistance during procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Take and develop diagnostic dental radiographs (X-rays)
- Perform infection control protocols and instrument sterilization
- Manage patient flow and clinical documentation using Eaglesoft software
- Prepare treatment rooms, materials, and instruments for procedures
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
- Assist in inventory management and ordering supplies
- Maintain OSHA compliance standards
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (DANB or equivalent)
- Texas dental radiography permit required
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in dental software (Eaglesoft experience preferred)
- CPR/BLS certification (current)
- Strong knowledge of infection control protocols
- Exceptional communication and patient care skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
