Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and exam rooms for dental procedures
- Assist dentists during treatments using proper infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with precision
- Manage inventory and sterilization of dental instruments
- Maintain accurate patient records using digital systems
- Provide post-operative care instructions to patients
- Coordinate front desk duties including scheduling and billing
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or radiology license
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Proficiency in Eaglesoft or Dentrix software
- CPR certification (BLS for Healthcare Providers)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment
- Attention to detail and commitment to patient safety
- Strong problem-solving abilities during emergencies
