What You Will Do:

Responsibilities
- Chair-Side Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations and treatment procedures, ensuring smooth workflows and anticipating needs.
- Patient Education: Explain post-operative instructions and oral hygiene techniques to patients in a clear and friendly manner.
- Radiography: Perform intraoral and extraoral X-rays following safety protocols and digital imaging standards.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilizing instruments and maintaining a clean clinical environment.
- Inventory Management: Monitor supply levels of dental materials, ensuring the operatory is always fully stocked and ready.
- Administrative Duties: Update patient charts, process insurance claims, and manage the front desk reception area as needed.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current Dental Assistant license (RDA) and valid Radiology license in the state of Texas.
- Certifications: Current BLS (Basic Life Support) and CPR certification.
- Experience: 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry practice preferred.
- Technical Skills: Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) and digital radiography equipment.
- Communication: Strong verbal and written communication skills with a focus on patient comfort.
