Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment for every patient.
- Take and process dental X-rays (radiographs) accurately.
- Greet patients, update records, and explain treatment plans.
- Maintain strict infection control protocols and sterilization standards.
- Assist with chair-side functions including suctioning and drying.
- Order and manage dental supplies and inventory.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant (DA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license.
- CPR and BLS certification (Basic Life Support) required.
- Previous experience in a clinical dental setting (1+ years preferred).
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Eaglesoft, Dexis) is a plus.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced, high-volume environment.
