Responsibilities
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments in accordance with strict safety protocols.
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures using four-handed dentistry techniques.
- Take and process high-quality digital X-rays and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, updating charts accurately and maintaining privacy compliance.
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Monitor inventory levels of dental supplies and place orders as needed.
Qualifications
- Current Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license in California.
- Dental Assisting Certificate from an accredited program.
- CPR/BLS (Basic Life Support) certification required.
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced setting.
