Responsibilities
- Assist the lead dentist and hygienists during examinations, procedures, and surgeries.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop digital dental X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral images.
- Maintain strict infection control standards and chairside asepsis.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment options.
- Manage patient records, updating charts, and managing scheduling efficiently.
- Ensure the operatory is clean, organized, and stocked with necessary supplies.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant license in the State of Wisconsin.
- CPR and BLS certification (American Red Cross or AHA).
- Graduation from an accredited Dental Assisting program.
- Experience with EagleSoft or similar dental practice management software.
- Strong interpersonal and communication skills with a patient-first approach.
- Ability to multi-task in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
