Responsibilities

  • Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries, ensuring patient comfort and safety at all times.
  • Infection Control: Strictly adhere to OSHA and CDC guidelines for sterilization, disinfection, and cross-contamination prevention.
  • Dental Radiography: Perform and process dental X-rays (Panoramic, Periapical, Cephalometric) with precision and accuracy.
  • Patient Management: Greet patients warmly, prepare treatment rooms, and manage patient records and intake forms efficiently.
  • Oral Health Education: Provide clear post-operative instructions and educate patients on proper brushing, flossing, and oral hygiene techniques.

Qualifications

  • Certification: Current licensure as a Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) or Dental Assistant (DA) in Nebraska.
  • Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
  • Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry, taking accurate impressions, and utilizing dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
