Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument preparation and patient positioning
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) with proper safety protocols
- Maintain sterile treatment areas and infection control procedures
- Manage patient scheduling and clinical documentation
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Order and inventory dental supplies
- Ensure HIPAA compliance and patient confidentiality
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods (8+ hours)
- Basic computer literacy (EMR systems a plus)
- Valid CPR certification (will provide training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Commitment to 6-month training program
