Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, cleanings, and restorative work
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain inventory
- Take and develop dental X-rays following safety protocols
- Manage patient records and scheduling systems
- Provide chairside support and comfort to anxious patients
- Apply topical anesthetics and dental sealants under supervision
- Process insurance claims and handle billing documentation
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift 25 lbs
- Excellent communication skills in English and Spanish (bilingual preferred)
- Commitment to complete the 12-week training program
- CPR certification (will be provided during training)
- Pass background check and drug screening
- Positive attitude and eagerness to learn in a fast-paced environment
