Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including instrument handling and suction management
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) following safety protocols
- Perform sterilization and instrument processing per OSHA guidelines
- Prepare treatment rooms and maintain optimal inventory levels
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort measures
- Manage digital charting and practice management software
- Coordinate patient flow and scheduling efficiency
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent required
- Strong attention to detail and manual dexterity
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to stand for extended periods and lift up to 25 lbs
- Willingness to complete state-required radiology certification
- Basic computer literacy and willingness to learn new technologies
- Positive attitude and commitment to continuous learning
- Valid CPR certification (or obtainable during training)
