Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures using proper infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with precision and care
- Prepare treatment rooms, instruments, and materials for patient visits
- Perform sterilization and equipment maintenance to OSHA standards
- Manage patient scheduling and electronic health records
- Educate patients on post-treatment care and oral hygiene
- Support front desk operations including billing verification
Qualifications
- High school diploma or equivalent (GED accepted)
- No prior dental experience required – training provided!
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced clinical setting
- Basic computer proficiency for dental software (training included)
- Detail-oriented with commitment to patient safety
- Valid CPR certification (will provide if not certified)
