Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment
- Take and develop dental X-rays with proper radiation safety protocols
- Manage patient records using digital dental software
- Provide chairside assistance and patient comfort measures
- Perform lab tasks like pouring models and fabricating temporary crowns
- Maintain clean, organized treatment rooms and inventory
Qualifications
- High school diploma or GED equivalent
- Strong interpersonal skills and compassion for patients
- Ability to stand for extended periods and perform precise manual tasks
- Willingness to complete paid training program requirements
- Basic computer proficiency for dental software systems
- CPR certification (provided during training)
- Texas state dental radiology certification (training included)
