Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures (chairside assisting).
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop digital X-rays and intraoral images.
- Manage patient records accurately and efficiently.
- Greet patients, verify insurance information, and ensure a welcoming atmosphere.
- Educate patients on post-procedure care and oral hygiene.
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant Certification or State Licensure (required).
- Previous experience as a dental assistant (1+ years preferred).
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and anatomy.
- Proficiency with dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills.
- CPR/BLS certification is a plus.
