Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including restorative, endodontic, and surgical treatments
- Perform chairside duties: instrument transfer, suction control, and four-handed dentistry
- Manage sterilization protocols and infection control procedures per OSHA/CDC standards
- Take accurate digital radiographs and intraoral photos
- Prepare treatment rooms and ensure optimal instrument/equipment availability
- Deliver exceptional patient education and comfort during procedures
- Maintain digital patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
Qualifications
- Active RDA or RDAEF license in California
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- Certification in CPR and BLS
- Mastery of digital radiography (Pano, CBCT, intraoral)
- Proficiency in dental practice management software
- Exceptional communication and chairside manner
- Ability to manage multiple procedures efficiently
- Knowledge of HIPAA compliance protocols
