Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring a smooth workflow.
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict safety protocols.
- Take and develop high-quality digital X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral photographs.
- Educate patients on oral hygiene, post-operative care, and treatment plans.
- Manage patient records, including updating digital charts and verifying insurance information.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming environment for all patients and staff.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or Registered Dental Assistant (RDA) license required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) certification.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Proficiency with dental software such as Dentrix, Eaglesoft, or OpenDental.
- Strong communication skills with a patient-centered approach.
- Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced, team-oriented environment.
