Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during a variety of treatment procedures with 4-handed dentistry.
- Prepare and sterilize instruments, dental equipment, and material.
- Take and develop high-quality digital and traditional radiographs (x-rays).
- Ensure patient comfort by managing chair-side assistance and explaining procedures.
- Maintain accurate patient records and update treatment histories.
- Provide post-operative instructions and oral hygiene education to patients.
- Manage inventory of dental supplies and order new stock as needed.
Qualifications
- Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license in California.
- Valid California X-ray certification (Radiation Safety) required.
- CPR/BLS certification (American Heart Association) is mandatory.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and a friendly, patient-centric attitude.
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced environment while maintaining high attention to detail.
