Responsibilities
- Prepare and sterilize dental instruments and equipment according to strict infection control standards.
- Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries.
- Take and develop high-quality dental X-rays (radiographs) and digital images.
- Manage patient records accurately and efficiently.
- Provide post-operative instructions and educate patients on oral hygiene and preventative care.
- Maintain a clean, organized, and welcoming treatment room environment.
Qualifications
- Valid California Dental Assistant License (RDA or DA).
- CPR and Basic Life Support (BLS) certification required.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of experience in a general dentistry setting preferred.
- Strong communication skills and the ability to build rapport with patients.
- Attention to detail and ability to multitask effectively.
- Flexibility to work a full-time schedule, including some evenings.
