Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations, treatments, and surgeries with precision and efficiency.
- Patient Care: Greet patients, update medical histories, and provide pre-operative instructions.
- Radiography: Perform intraoral and extraoral dental X-rays while strictly adhering to safety protocols.
- Operatory Management: Prepare and sterilize instruments, maintain cleanliness, and ensure all equipment is functioning correctly.
- Office Support: Handle appointment scheduling, insurance verification, and patient follow-up calls.
Qualifications
- Licensure: Current RDA (Registered Dental Assistant) license or equivalent certification in California.
- Experience: Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience in a general dentistry setting.
- Skills: Proficiency in four-handed dentistry, taking impressions, and digital X-ray techniques.
- Certification: Current BLS/CPR certification is required.
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal and communication skills to interact effectively with patients and staff.
