Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist during examinations, procedures, and surgeries with precision and care.
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain strict infection control protocols.
- Take and develop dental x-rays (radiographs) and digital images accurately.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and verify insurance information efficiently.
- Provide excellent patient education on oral hygiene and post-operative care.
- Monitor patient comfort and handle chairside assisting duties in a fast-paced setting.
Qualifications
- Certified Dental Assistant (CDA) or equivalent state certification required.
- Current Basic Life Support (BLS) and CPR certification.
- 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but new graduates are encouraged to apply.
- Strong knowledge of dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft) is a plus.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
