Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for dental procedures and assist dentists during treatments
- Take and develop dental radiographs (X-rays) accurately
- Perform infection control protocols and sterilize instruments
- Manage patient records and digital charting systems
- Assist with inventory management and supply ordering
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Ensure operatory setup and cleanup protocols are followed
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification or RDA license (CA)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in a dental setting
- Proficiency in dental radiography and infection control
- Strong knowledge of dental terminology and procedures
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
- CPR certification (current or willing to obtain)
- Experience with Eaglesoft or dental software preferred
