Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for treatments and assist dentists during procedures
- Sterilize instruments and maintain infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and process digital images
- Manage patient records using Dentrix/EagleSoft software
- Assist in dental lab procedures and crown/bridge fabrication
- Provide post-op instructions and patient education
- Order supplies and maintain inventory levels
Qualifications
- Current Texas Dental Assistant certification or RDA license
- Minimum 1 year clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR/BLS certification from accredited institution
- Proficiency in dental radiography (X-ray) techniques
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and HIPAA compliance
- Excellent chairside demeanor and communication skills
- Ability to work efficiently in fast-paced environment
