Responsibilities
- Prepare patients for procedures and ensure comfort during treatments
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorations
- Sterilize equipment and maintain strict infection control protocols
- Take and develop dental radiographs with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient records using advanced dental software systems
- Coordinate treatment plans and educate patients on oral hygiene
- Oversee inventory management and ordering of dental supplies
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or willingness to obtain immediately
- Valid CPR/BLS certification (training provided if needed)
- Exceptional communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a high-volume clinical setting
- Strong attention to detail and organizational abilities
- Experience with digital radiography preferred but not required
