Responsibilities
- Chairside Assistance: Assist the dentist during examinations and procedures, ensuring patient comfort and safety.
- Infection Control: Strictly adhere to sterilization protocols and maintain a clean, sanitary environment.
- Patient Management: Greet patients, update medical histories, and explain treatment plans effectively.
- Lab Work: Prepare temporary crowns, impressions, and perform other lab duties as assigned.
- Scheduling & Billing: Coordinate appointments and assist with dental insurance processing.
Qualifications
- Certification: Current Dental Assistant certification (CDA or equivalent) required.
- Licensure: State radiology license and BLS certification.
- Experience: 1-3 years of clinical experience preferred; new grads encouraged to apply.
- Skills: Proficient in digital dentistry software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft).
- Communication: Excellent interpersonal skills and ability to work in a team.
