Responsibilities
- Assist the dentist chair-side during examinations and treatment procedures.
- Prepare treatment rooms and sterilize instruments and equipment.
- Take and develop dental X-rays (radiographs) and intraoral photographs.
- Manage patient records, update charts, and ensure accurate documentation.
- Greet patients, answer phones, and manage front desk reception duties as needed.
- Maintain strict adherence to infection control protocols and OSHA standards.
- Educate patients on proper oral hygiene and post-operative care instructions.
Qualifications
- Current Massachusetts X-ray license and CPR/BLS certification (must be up-to-date).
- Dental Assistant certification (CDA) or graduation from an accredited dental assisting program.
- Minimum of 1-2 years of clinical experience preferred, but we will train the right candidate.
- Excellent communication skills and a friendly, professional demeanor.
- Ability to stand for long periods and work efficiently in a fast-paced environment.
- Strong attention to detail and organizational skills.
