Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Prepare and sterilize instruments/equipment following OSHA protocols
- Take and develop dental X-rays with digital imaging technology
- Manage patient scheduling and maintain accurate digital records
- Provide chairside support and ensure patient comfort
- Order inventory and maintain a clean, organized treatment area
Qualifications
- Active Dental Assistant certification (RDA preferred)
- Minimum 1 year of clinical experience in general dentistry
- Knowledge of dental terminology and instruments
- CPR/BLS certification required
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to work efficiently in a fast-paced setting
- Proficiency with digital dental software (e.g., Dentrix)
