Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during procedures including exams, fillings, and extractions
- Perform sterilization and infection control protocols
- Take dental X-rays and develop radiographs
- Manage patient scheduling and record updates
- Prepare treatment rooms and instruments
- Provide patient education on oral hygiene
- Handle billing and insurance documentation
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification (or eligible)
- 1+ years of clinical experience
- Proficiency in dental software (e.g., Dentrix, Eaglesoft)
- Excellent interpersonal and communication skills
- New Jersey state radiography license
- Ability to work flexible hours including Saturdays
- CPR certification
- Attention to detail and organizational skills
