Responsibilities
- Prepare patients and dental operatory for procedures including instrument sterilization
- Assist dentists during exams and treatments using 4-handed dentistry techniques
- Take dental radiographs and digital impressions per protocol
- Manage inventory ordering and sterilization of equipment
- Maintain accurate patient records and digital charting
- Provide post-operative instructions and patient education
- Coordinate with front desk on patient flow and scheduling
Qualifications
- Current RDA license in California (required)
- Minimum 2 years clinical dental assisting experience
- Certification in CPR and dental radiography
- Proficiency with Eaglesoft or similar dental software
- Strong knowledge of OSHA and infection control protocols
- Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
- Ability to multitask in a fast-paced environment
