Responsibilities
- Assist dentists during complex procedures including oral surgery and restorative treatments
- Prepare treatment rooms, sterilize instruments, and maintain OSHA compliance
- Take digital dental impressions and develop high-quality X-rays
- Manage patient scheduling, billing inquiries, and insurance documentation
- Train on advanced technologies like CAD/CAM systems and digital radiography
- Maintain precise patient records using Dentrix/Eaglesoft software
- Coordinate post-operative care instructions and follow-up appointments
Qualifications
- Current Dental Assistant certification or X-ray license (WI state)
- Minimum 2 years clinical experience in general dentistry
- CPR certification and HIPAA compliance knowledge
- Proficiency in dental imaging software and digital charting
- Exceptional interpersonal skills for patient education and comfort
- Ability to multitask in fast-paced clinical environments
- Strong attention to detail for infection control protocols
- Valid Wisconsin driver's license for mobile clinic support
